An adventure on the road. Our first blowout! Lucky we were able to pull completly off the road. The entire change took about an hour and we were back on the road. I must say Marcy and I really work as a team when it comes to crunch time. We had just left a rest area and I had checked the tires. Just as we were finishing up a New Mexico state worker stopped and offered to help. He was picking up treads off the freeway when he happened upon us. We called ahead to a tire store in Deming and when we arrived they got us in and two tires replaced in less than an hour. Below are pictures of the damage to the tire and the trailer. Should be no problem getting the trailer fixed either in Rice Texas, home of the Casita, or in Tulsa, land of thousands of fiberglass boats.
